We should accept that our nation was, is, and will be imperfect simply because we’re human.
But, being human allows us to do better: think, reason, study, debate, and walk in the other person’s shoes.
We should always strive to learn, grow, empathize, and respect our differences, not make them a source of conflict and manufactured hate.
Sometimes the truth hurts, but it guides us to a more worthy and enlightened life. Truth should forever be the goal, whether it’s our own truth or that of others.
