I've only read Atonement and Saturday but even though his work is beautifully and brilliantly written — and sure to be the “literature” of tomorrow — I haven't kept up with his work. Thanks for sharing! I didn't know this book was out. 🫶🏻
I've read a lot of his work and went to see him give a talk on one of his books at the Hay Literary Festival. I really like his writing but I've found myself a little flat at the end of some of his books, whereas others I've really enjoyed. I didn't know about this one.
Oh how wonderful, Patricia! I would love to see him speak. I think the two books I read definitely stayed with me and I spent time thinking them over which I suppose is what literature is meant to do! But Atonement was rather sad. 🧐
