Oh I didn't purchase anything during my shopping escapades. The outings were more for visual therapy and to generate ideas.

I understand why you're rattled. I think everyone is, to some degree. Things are so different now. I hate sounding like my parents when I say it. Looking back, I don't think this bothered my mother too much, she rolled with the punches. I'm certain change and uncertainties, coupled with aging did something to my father's will to live a longer life.

Great post!

I don't think I've ever tasted spam. I was horrified when my husband told me that when he was a child, his menu du jour on any day trips out with the school would be his mum's spam and ketchup sandwiches - his choice! - usually eaten within five minutes of boarding the coach, rather than lunchtime.

Sad to say that I'm no stranger to online spam - I seem to delete tonnes of the stuff from my inbox daily...
