The priceless lesson I learned from my husband's struggle with dementia and death was the value of relationships. They are irreplaceable and need to be held with gratefulness and love.

This is so true. It's so easy to get caught up in the everyday chaos, which is why being mindful is an ongoing challenge. I need to take my own advice and do the short meditation...focusing on gratitude for all my loved ones.

Thank you for the kind words, Rebecca. I feel less intimidated by and more inclined to try things that don't require a big chunk of time. A 5-minute meditation exercise is a good way for beginners to try it out. I hope it brings peace and balance to your days!
