I know what you mean, Janice. Maybe if I had done meditation, but those were busy years: growing up, school, work, and raising a family. You really have to focus, quietly and undisturbed, to go deep within yourself. Retirement gives us the time and wisdom to look hard and see long buried experiences that shine a light on who we are.
